Elop: Ask me Anything. More questions answered…

A few weeks ago, Conversations invited Stephen Elop to take part in a live Q&A; you asked, he answered. The response was overwhelming.

Thousands of questions were pitched and, while some of you had yours answered, many didn’t. So, as promised, Conversations and the Mobile Phones team has followed up. Here you’ll find those pertaining to Asha. Be sure to check back over the coming weeks as we answer more.

Q. What’s your take on “why one will buy Asha phone when it can buy an Android at the same price range?”

There is a place for Asha in the wider market, particularly for people upgrading from feature phones to their first touch phone. Asha offers great design, smarter internet and exceptional battery life at affordable price points. People will enjoy an optimised mobile experience that’s tailored to what’s most important to them: social networking, access to tens of thousands of apps and more efficient web browsing.
