India, say hello to Lumia 540
Starting today, the power-packed and affordable Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM is available in India.
With its sleek design and stylish appearance, the Microsoft Lumia 540 delivers high-end performance at a price that won’t break the bank. And if you live in India, you can now purchase the Lumia 540 Dual SIM with a best-buy price of INR 10,199 in a Microsoft store and other specialty retailers near you.
There’s also a special incentive for Airtel customers: Those folks will get double the data on their current package free for two months if they purchase the Lumia 540. Further sweetening the deal is cash back* of INR 1,000 from Paytm, India’s largest mobile payments service, and INR 800 from Olacabs.
The Lumia 540’s features include a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 5-inch HD display and a front-facing 5-megapixel, wide-angle camera. The phone can also help you stay productive on the go with Microsoft services such as Skype, OneNote and Office.
And of course, the Lumia 540 comes with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and can be upgraded to Windows 10 when it’s available later this year.
