USA – America rejoice, the long awaited Nokia E72 is now available in the USA. If you’re near either the New York or Chicago flagship stores right now, you’ll be able to walk right in and pick up a brand new Nokia E72. Joining Nokia’s newest business messaging device is the Nokia 5800 navigation edition, complete with a lifetime license for voice guidance and a car kit so you can easily mount the device on your windshield.

According to a survey commissioned by Nokia, almost two thirds of Americans plan to access and respond to email during their holiday vacation. This is up from just over half in last year’s survey. Now, with the E72, messaging on the move doesn’t need to be such a chore, and certainly means the laptop can be left behind. And, if email isn’t enough, there’s always Instant Messaging, which also works a treat.

The Nokia E72 is available now for $469 through www.nokiausa.com, Best Buy and other independent retailers.

The Nokia 5800 navigation edition sports the latest edition of Ovi Maps for mobile. Unlike other mobile navigation solutions, Ovi Maps stores its maps on the device, so you don’t need a constant connection to the network to find your way around. This helps reduce data charges and works in more remote areas where cellular coverage isn’t as strong.

The Nokia 5800 navigation edition is available now for $299 and is available through www.nokiausa.com. Also, if you buy between now and December 31 2009, Nokia is offering a $50 Visa prepaid gift card for customers who buy the device and activate an account with Ovi Store.

You can’t say fairer than that, really.
