GLOBAL – The Nokia N9 has been in the shops for about two weeks now, and people have already started uploading their own photos to photo-sharing sites such as Flickr. We’ve trawled the galleries of that site so you don’t have to. Here’s a small collection of images that we’re allowed to share – paying attention to creative commons licenses – but there are already heaps more available to be found. We’ve also included a video filmed on the Nokia N9, too.

We found Nokia’s head of design Marko Ahtisaari‘s Flickr page where he has lots of great images. One of our favourite is the view from inside a log cabin with the sunlight beaming in through the window, casting light upon the dark interior.

Sigurdga has taken a photo of some plants on a grassy verge. There’s plenty of colour here for the phone to capture and it’s done it perfectly. Green, orange, purple, blue and a multitude of vibrant of colours make this picture a great one. This is a crop as it was too large to fit, click the link above for the full image.

We love this photo of some exotic looking vegetables. There’s a purple cauliflower in the background and something quite strange looking in the foreground. The Nokia N9 has captured the strange angular peaks of these vegetables. Thanks to aSIMULAtor for this amazing shot.

Nokia’s Senior Services Marketing Manager, Bill Perry has uploaded a great video showing the capabilities of the Nokia N9 video camera. He notes the video was filmed using a pre-release version of the software. Nonetheless, the Nokia N9 shoots a great video.

Have you taken any great photos or videos using the Nokia N9? If you have, do let us know in the comments below. We’d love to see them.
