Creative Studio by Nokia transforms the way you take photos on your Nokia Lumia 610, Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 800 and the now available Nokia Lumia 900 by adding special effects to the photo, before you’ve even taken that perfect shot.

Created by Nokia, Creative Studio transforms standard photos into something extra special, with ease.

There’s the option to take photos straight away with what are called Live Styles. These are live effects, relayed through your phone’s viewfinder. This means you don’t need to make the edits after you’ve taken the shot.

Live Styles include:

• Sketch
• Dreamy
• Night vision
• Cartoon
• Colour
• Silkscreen

Alternatively, you can select any of the images already saved in your photo gallery and add special effects afterwards, if that’s what you prefer.

Additional effects include:

• Freaky
• Back to ’76
• Summer evening
• Flawless skin
• Auto enhance
• Watercolour

Another fun way of capturing your friends is by using Face Warps. You can make your friends look like they’ve got a great big nose, a stretched mouth or totally twisted face. Whatever you choose, it’s all really good fun.

Face Warps include:

• Mega mouth
• Super chin
• Pinocchio
• Dweeb
• Alien
• Twister

As if two methods of taking and editing photos wasn’t enough, Nokia has also thrown in a third way of capturing the world. Creative Studio also has the ability to capture spectacular panoramic images. Take your first photo, the app will then guide you in taking three more shots to complete the wide shot image. You’ll need a steady hand for this, but the results can be amazing, especially for a city landscape or a beach view.

Once you’ve captured any one of these images and had some fun with special effects, you can then share these with your friends on social networking sites, such as: Facebook; Twitter; and Flickr.
