SUNNYVALE, CA, United States – We’ve had a fantastic week of voting in the March Apps Madness competition.  You’ve narrowed the field of 32 apps down to 16: a group we’re calling the Supreme 16!

From our large field of apps divided into the four categories including: games, social, news and entertainment and utilities and productivity, we now have 16 apps that will move on to the next round.

We’ve begun voting already – please see our first round of Social and Gaming apps here.

Over the week, we had some awesome comments for all the applications, along with blog posts and tweets from the developers to vote for their apps.  Congratulations to all the winners; consolations to the losers (you’re still awesome, folks) and thanks to everyone, from developers to voters, for making it a fun week.

To keep you up to speed on how the next stage will play out, today we’re announcing the Supreme 16 and the next round of voting will commence today and go through Monday of next week. Then, next Tuesday, we’ll announce the “Excellent 8” and go from there.
