MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, United States – One of the most widely requested apps for Windows Phone is now a reality, with the release today of a dedicated app for LinkedIn. 

Contacts and updates from the work-centric social network were already embedded into the People Hub on Windows Phone, but now you can do all the other things that the network offers, wherever you are. You can send and receive invitations to connect and other messages; you can browse groups, look for a job and follow news from your favourite companies.

The app takes full advantage of the design features of the Metro interface, with a Live Tile to bring you the latest updates and notifications, and a full-featured panorama to move you swiftly around the application.
