MVC AWARD: NOVEMBER

With the holiday season now in full flow, we bring you the penultimate MVC of 2013.  After a number of nominations and tense voting by the judges, this month’s winner is a keen mobile photographer with a love for nature and sweet panoramic views.

So without further ado, we give you Olivier (@MusicAddict1)

Already an avid Nokia fan, Olivier trialled both the Lumia 920 and 925 in 2013 and put them both straight to work in the perfectly scenic countryside of Belgium, capturing the summers bright sunshine and natures vivid shades of green in all it’s glory.

The panoramic shot below was taken with the Lumia 925 and is just one of Olivier’s wide angled beauties, capturing vast luscious greenery. It’s an inspiring shot and one that looks like it could almost be out of the recent Hobbit films due to the size of its scope.

Continuing that warm summer feeling that we’re all missing here at the moment, Olivier is no one trick pony, capturing exquisite close-ups such as the next two shots. The first, a close-up of a butterfly basking in fields of purple.

The second, a capture of rain on a leaf, a precursor for the weather which was to come, but beautiful in showing the life of nature and Olivier’s eye for a simple yet highly effective photograph.
