Nokia Lumia Icon: A display to rule them all

The Nokia Lumia Icon features the latest and greatest in display technology. Standing as our second device with Gorilla Glass 3, the most sensitive touch screen, and Verizon Wireless’ first quad-core processor device, it’s sure to blow you away from its extreme clarity to seamless execution.

A screen that everyone can see, anywhere

Sporting a 5-inch, Full HD screen, the Nokia Lumia Icon is the ultimate device in versatility and performance, designed to enhance how you interact with your phone.

Its designers wanted to make an amazing device with the crispness and clarity to accurately see the power behind the screen that pushes it forward.

For ultimate visibility no matter whether you’re standing, Nokia Lumia Icon features curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 — the only other device to feature Gorilla Glass 3 after the Nokia Lumia 1020 — with a virtual 180-degree viewing angle so people on either side of you can see the screen clearly.

To make things even better, Nokia Lumia Icon integrates Full HD ClearBlack technology into the display, allowing the screen to be seen clearly in direct sunlight, without any glare or reflection. This is an amazing feature while getting the best possible outdoor shots with the 20-megapixel camera and seeing your photos or videos without having to squint.

The clearest, most sensitive touch

Because the Lumia Icon is such a powerhouse in the video and gaming department, we had to make the screen phenomenal for all of your graphics and images to really stand out. The Full HD OLED display has a resolution of 1080p and 441 ppi. It’s the first Lumia to feature 441 ppi, while other Lumia devices have a max of 368 ppi like the Nokia Lumia 1520, and the difference can definitely be seen in the details.

On top of the ability to see clearly in sunlight, the screen features enhanced touch sensitivity, which also adds to its outdoor use. It is so responsive, you can access the device while wearing gloves or even with the tip of a pen or fingernail.

Just like Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia Icon has a three-column home screen for easier access to Live Tiles and all your favorite apps for better accessibility tailored to your needs.
