Little details I’m loving #4: the Nokia Headset WH-208

The Nokia Lumia 1520 offers plenty to get excited about; the stunning six-inch full HD display for starters. However, continuing our ‘little details I’m loving‘ series, we’re focussing on a potentially over-looked hero that comes with the 1520 – the Nokia Headset WH-208.

From the outset, this small bundle of wires, plastic and rubber looks like any other ordinary headset that you’d find in a new smartphone box.

However, there’s a lot more going on that you might not realise.

Replacing the usual plastic speaker surrounds are rubber earbuds, which are super soft and fit comfortably into your ear.

If you find them too big or small for your ear canal, you’ll find a number of different sized earbuds in the box. What you’re looking for is a tight fit that really brings out the bass in your music.

However, it’s the design of the speaker head that makes these earbuds so simple to slip, and stay inside, your ear.

Rather than a flat, square design, the earbuds stick out at an angle.

When placing any earbud into your ear, look at the position of your forefinger and thumb; you’ll notice that they’re never completely square against your face, instead at an angle. The Nokia Headset WH-208 has been designed to mirror these positions to make it more comfortable for you.

Another little thing that makes a huge difference.
