Back in May, we challenged you to capture what soccer means to you and send us your best, most blistering and brilliant shots of the beautiful game.

What better way to get in the mood for the summer’s soccer extravaganza than that, we thought, and we’ve been overjoyed to notice that you seem to agree! At least judging by the flood of absolutely fabulous entries we’ve received so far… You’ve submitted colourful, atmospheric, quirky and simply blinding photos, which have quite literally taken our breath away.

Now that you’ve checked out the competition, don’t just watch from the sidelines!
