Poll results: your favorite #MoreLumia news from Berlin

On September 4th, Microsoft held a press conference in Berlin to announce some new products, and last week we opened a poll asking what was your favourite #MoreLumia news from that day? Let’s take a look at those results.

With several announcements, we thought choosing just one favourite would be too much of an ask. So instead, we asked you to select three.

Securing more than a third of the votes was news of the upcoming Lumia Denim Update, with 35 per cent.

The Lumia Demin Update features the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1, bringing Cortana to more countries, introducing Live folders, allows for customising snooze times in your alarm, and much more.

It also includes some additional features and experiences, exclusive to Lumia customers.

For instance, a new improved Lumia Camera with faster shooting capabilities, 4K-quality video recording, auto HDR and Dynamic Flash for select devices, as well as “Hey Cortana”: a totally hands-free way to interact with Cortana.

In second place, and scoring 27 per cent of your votes, is the new Lumia 830.

The Lumia 830 is our affordable flagship. It offers PureView technology with a rear-facing 10Mp camera, ZEISS optics and is our thinnest and lightest OIS (optical image stabilisation) smartphone to date.

All of this packed into a high-end polycarbonate and metal body that simply oozes style.

The third most loved piece of news from September 4th, was the announcement of the Microsoft Screen Sharing for Lumia Phones, with 11 per cent.

Simply put, the Microsoft Screen Sharing for Lumia Phones makes it super-simple to share what’s on your Lumia to a big screen.

Plug this device into the HDMI port of your TV, pair your phone (or tablet) to it using NFC and away you go.

Microsoft Screen Sharing is compatible with Lumia smartphones with screen projection (such as Lumia 730, Lumia 735 or Lumia 830) and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracastâ„¢ products on any operating system.

As for how the rest of the options fared, they are as follows:

  • Lumia 730 – 10 per cent
  • Nokia Wireless Charging Plate (DT-903) – 7 per cent
  • Lumia 735 – 6 per cent
  • Wireless Charging Flip Shell for Lumia 830 (CP-627) – 2 per cent
  • New orange Nokia Wireless Charging Plate (DT-601) – 1 per cent
  • Wireless Charging Shell for Lumia 735 – 1 per cent

Thanks again for voting!
