The Microsoft Lumia 735 is available in the U.S. in Verizon Wireless retail stores and online



Starting today, Verizon Wireless will sell the Lumia 735 in its retail stores nationwide following online availability at VerizonWireless.com last month.

Walk into a Verizon Wireless retail store in the U.S., and you can now walk out with the slim, vibrant and powerful Lumia 735.

This smartphone is built to take the best selfies. Its front-facing, wide-angle 5-megapixel full HD camera means you can fit more of you and your friends in front of the lens. In addition, its 6.7 megapixel auto-focus, rear-facing camera with ZEISS optics means you can take great shots even in low light.

Of course, it comes with essential Microsoft experiences such as Office applications and Cortana, your personal digital assistant. And now through July 31, customers who buy and activate the Lumia 735 from Verizon will receive one year of Office 365 Personal (while supplies last). You can install trusted Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote onto your PC/Mac, tablet and phone.

This special offer also includes 1 terabyte of cloud storage on OneDrive, so you can access, edit and save your personal data such as photos, music and videos from your devices securely. More details are available here.

The Lumia 735 costs $29.99 USD on a two-year contract or $8 USD a month for 24 months with 0 percent APR on Verizon Edge. For a limited time, if you bring your phone number to Verizon, you’ll get a $100 bill credit within 2-3 bill cycles for each new smartphone activated on Verizon Edge.

The Lumia 735 is also available in the Microsoft Store for $199 with no contract.

Available in dark grey, the Lumia 735 comes with wireless charging capability right out of the box. If you’re feeling colorful, you also have your pick of wireless charging back covers ($24.99) in orange, green, white, red, and cyan.

Fast, elegant, powerful

The smartphone’s sleek design and 4.7-inch HD OLED display means you can watch your favorite television shows, movies or video clips even in bright sunlight.

Power and capacity is also packed into is slim design. The Lumia 735 comes with the Windows Phone 8.1 (Lumia Denim) operating system, and will be upgradeable to Windows 10 when it’s available. The phone has a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, a 2220 mAh battery, and 16 GB of onboard memory, which can be expanded with another 128 GB through a microSD card (sold separately).
