Updated November 8, 2014 2:20 am - A few months back at CES, we had the pleasure of bringing to the Web the wonderfully addictive game ‘“Cut the Rope.” The game is about feeding candy to a little green Monster named Om Nom.
While we ported the game to the Web in order to showcase the power of HTML5, we are excited to see millions of users worldwide continue to visit the site and enjoy the game. And, to make things sweeter, the game just got named the top HTML5 game by Neowin: “Cut the Rope is easily the most ambitious HTML5 game out there right now, and a real model for future developers to aspire for.” The award really validated the effort that went into building the game experience and reinforces our conviction to push modern web standards.
HTML5 has arrived! And, we on the Internet Explorer team are committed to HTML5 to not only showcase the beauty of the web, but also demonstrate how fast, fluid and interactive the web is becoming.
If you haven’t fed Om Nom any candy lately, please help him out at www.cuttherope.ie.
