In case you’ve missed it, MIX11 is right around the corner. MIX is *the* place to be to get deep on key web technologies and products from Microsoft. Earlier, we highlighted some of the top sessions related to IE9 and HTML5.

But MIX isn’t just about getting a first look at the latest Microsoft technologies, it’s an opportunity for you to have your questions answered by top industry experts. It’s a chance to hear their perspective on where the web is going and what technologies, platforms and practices are going to lead the way. Below are just a few of the sessions that we hope you’re excited to attend:

CSS3 Takes on the World
Jonathan Snook @snookca	In the war chest of the web developer, there is Photoshop, HTML, JavaScript, and, of course, CSS. While CSS started off with a minor role, it is increasingly taking over. This session will review the latest and greatest of CSS3, how we can apply it to projects right now, what benefits can be had, and what we can expect to have available to us in the future as CSS continues to take over the world!
HTML5/CSS3 Boot Camp

Sullivan Rewis @stefsull	Although CSS3 rendering varies between browsers and HTML5 hasn’t reached the candidate recommendation stage yet, they're already the hot, new buzzwords and some intrepid front-end developers are already creating sites with them. Are these new techniques ready for prime time on the web? What happens with older browsers? Welcome to the next generation of web design!
Is that a Sherpa on Your Shoulder?
Aaron Gustafson @AaronGustafson	In this session, Aaron Gustafson will introduce you to Web Standards Sherpa, a new resource from the Web Standards Project. The goal of Web Standards Sherpa is to "provide helpful, pragmatic and up-to-date advice on best practices for web professionals everywhere" via brief, focused instructional critiques of existing websites.
Writing Maintainable JavaScript

Microformats and Semantic Markup
