Since the launch of Internet Explorer 9 last March, we’ve been excited to see the product get some of the best reviews Internet Explorer has ever seen.

Yesterday the editors at PCWorld named Internet Explorer 9 one of the top 100 products of 2011! Internet Explorer 9 comes in at #19, the only major browser to make the list this go around, which given all the innovation happening right now in the browser space is pretty humbling.

From the editors: “…the latest version is slick and speedy, has better security against malware, is HTML5-friendly, and offers GPU-enhanced graphics performance…”

IE9 is one of three Microsoft products in the top-20, with Xbox Kinect coming in at #5 and Windows Phone “Mango” 7.5 coming in at #7 – great company to be in!

Check out the full top-100 list for yourself.

  • Well deserved. It really is.

Though I must say I no longer care what PC World has to say since I read an offensive article titled The 20 Worst Windows Features of All Times. Although I am aware that Microsoft Windows is not perfect, I believe the latter was a huge chunk of lies.

  • Congrats! I love IE9, and am looking forward to IE10!
