This has been a great year for Internet Explorer. For those of us on the IE team we are extremely thankful for the opportunity to work on such a great product with such a fantastic team. We are also incredibly thankful for the opportunity we had to give back to children in need this holiday season by partnering with the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

We know that not every family is as lucky as we are, and there are children out there facing a less joyous holiday season due to illness. Because of this, we teamed up with Starlight Children’s Foundation, to try and give back and make the season merrier for those kids and families that must spend the holidays in the hospital.

Starlight Children's Foundation works with area hospitals to provide children and families a little levity from the constant barrage of treatments and medical attention. During the holidays, Starlight works to bring gifts and events to children and families that would otherwise not be able to celebrate due to treatments, financial burdens, or other hardships brought on by the hospitalization of a child.

We worked with Steve McGraw, Executive Director, Starlight Children's Foundation, Northwest Chapter, to gather toys for kids in area hospitals this winter and then brought in the IE team to wrap and prepare the donation for delivery. The wrapping party was a great moment to pause, give thanks, and help out this holiday season.

We hope this blog shines a light on the hardships children and families face during the holiday season, and we encourage you to explore Starlight Foundation’s website and look for ways you can help.
