@DjiXas: If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera Internet Options Dialogs/Pages haven't changed much. And what reason would there be to change it? Absolutely none, other than to make them look different... Seriously, you're complaining about the look of an Options dialog that most users barely ever see after they set their browser up for the first time (when they go in there to set everything the way they want it, which doesn't change much if at all).

And since Windows 8 syncs settings now, even... Yea... You're really grasping at straws buddy. Shut up and take a seat.

Oh I see thanks! But it would be even better if there was an option on the internet options to check off where it completely erases everything along with cookies upon exit. I feel as if it's a inconvenience to go use a specific type of browsing style. Other browsers have the feature where you basically are always in InPrivate browsing mode. I hope you guys incorporate such a feature so that it takes the hassle out of having to do the InPrivate browsing mode before you browse and instead just have it as an option in the Internet options section.

@vieya - what you're seeing is cookies saved on your machine. When you delete history, it deletes browser history but not cookies that sites save your PC (because some people want their browser history erased but don't want to have to reinput their passwords for example). If you want to clear everything, the best thing to do is to use InPrivate browsing. InPrivate will delete history and any temporary cookies used while you log into an account. (It's a great feature for when you are on public PCs.) You can learn more about InPrivate browsing here for IE9 or IE10: windows.microsoft.com/.../in-private.

I love having a consistent browser experience across my devices, and after the changes to Windows RT IE10 that opened up Flash, I can say that we're ALMOST there... now let's get Flash included in Xbox 360 IE10, and we'll be in good shape (not to mention opening up TONS of possibilities for video content viewing on the Xbox making it even more valuable than it is today).

On internet explorer 10 for windows 7 (don't know if this holds true for 8 as well haven't tried) when you check delete history on exit it doesn't actually delete the history. For example if I'm signed into amazon checking out books to save to my wish list when I close the browser my history is still viewable and I'm still logged into the account. When I use another browser and have this setting checked it does actually delete history and sign me out even if I forget to do this. Could you fix this please? Thank you.

Hi abm, Unfortunately my IE v10 on Windows 7 does not have that option.

I did however test the 'InPrivate Browsing' option on IE 10 on Windows 7 and found that it doesn't work very well either.
