Today, at the developer-focused BUILD conference in Anaheim, CA we’re are sharing a detailed preview of the next major release of Windows – “Windows 8”. Looking forward to grabbing the download tonight. You think about what we saw today and what might come a little later down the road, like deep Skype integration. I can't wait to try it out.

Cheers Guys - I saw that the Developer Preview Build is being made available....Do you think they will also send out RC and RTM versions early to Developers as well? Will Win8 move to more like Windows Phone Beta releases etc?
@Strider - If they are following the Windows 7 release schedule, then I guess that we'll maybe hear about a Beta by CES 2012. Since Windows Phone is closely related to the carriers, I doubt Windows 8 will go that route.
Just saw Larry Hyrb's post about the XBox Live Dashboard in Windows 8 w/ pic. I am completely stoked for this new OS both as a consumer and a student developer.

The product is very good at teaching me the fundamental of Hindi and the immersive environment is excellent for vocabulary and basic sentence structure. I would like better grammar explanations but I can pick up most grammar with practice. www.manyrosettastone.com I would also like additional activities outside the graded courses to practice. I do find that there is a lot of variability in exercises and that helps to learn the basic lessons.
