We wanted to see what other members of the Windows team like most about Windows 8 so we asked some of our Windows engineers. Check out what they say in this video below.

Based on what you saw today from the BUILD keynote and reading here in my blog post – I am curious to hear what you are most excited about for Windows 8? Be sure to also check out my blog post featuring my experience with Windows 8 as well!

Those of you interested in how we’re making Windows 8, I suggest reading Building Windows 8 to get a behind-the-scenes look at the engineering of the product. And for more on Windows at BUILD this week, check out the BUILD newsroom on Microsoft News Center.

  • I'm very excited about the new look to Windows 8.  The ability to transition between the Metro environment to the traditional desktop apps seems nice.  I can see it really changing mobile computing.  I'm imagining a touchscreen tablet that I can carry with me that will hook up to a nice charging dock on my desk when I'm at the office.  A wireless keyboard and mouse to accompany it at my office would make it a replacement for my laptop.  It'd be more mobile in the field and seemingly powerful enough for every day computing at my desk. Plus, it can print.  Thank God, it can print.  :)

I am excited that after 10 years, MS has come to grips with tablets and touch. Not that they didn't 'support' them before. I personally saw Gates and Balmer walking around with tablets, professing it was the future, back when XP Tablet addition was released. Just a shame it took Apple's iPad and Google's Android to spur them into action, to act on the vision. Glad to see that the developer Samsung supports ink, i.e. a stylus, not a fat finger substitute.

Im using it now as i type this to you, Because i cant find were to post feedback ill post it here.

Right now i haven't had any problems, no crashing, no hardware failures, no sluggishness its working perfectly, however i think the non metro applications that get added to the metro style start slide could have a better integration from your end, Like were the tile changes background color depending on the icon color, right click to uninstall applications like it can be done with the metro applications, and make the scrollbar the same across the whole OS, so exactly the same as the Metro IE Browser, i think it should be the same on the normal IE10 browser, as right now i kinda thing it looks ugly and well blocky

  • if i have instaled Silverlight why  i can't see te video in IE9, but run well in Chrome?

Si tengo instalado el Silverlight. por que el video no se puede ver en el IE9 y corre bien en chrome?

  • The new windows 8 UI is nice and fast from 7. I like the metro style apps but don't know how to close the apps, i press alt + f4 but apps still running. only way to close the apps is use task manager. i hope in future this problem will be resolved.

The second thing i like is the copy and paste system, this is awesome i can pause the copy, i can see the graph of copy, it's nice.

the third not the least i like IE10 it's fast, vivid, beautiful better than firefox and chrome.

However, I can't say anything useful yet. "The girl is drinking;" "The man is running;" "The boys are reading"? How about, "Hello", or "thank you"? www.hellorosettastone.com How about, "Excuse me, please, but I don't speak Arabic. Do you speak English?"? Or, "Excuse me, please. Could you tell me where the train station is?"?

  • Tao of Badass: Women are as sexual (if not more sexual) than guys are. Most of the   time, this "turbo" make-out session never happens, because so many guys   are afraid to go for it. And when this doesn't happen, the girls end up   going home alone or worse.. staying being kind of mean to a lot of guys   in the bar/being resentful and angry because no one's approaching them. <a href="www.thetaoofbadass-reviews.com/.../a><br>

By putting this technique into practice, You want to discover how to see   the women who you're able to make out with in 40 seconds or less in the   first place.
