Today, Bing Translator for Windows is receiving a new update that brings the same text-to-speech functionality seen on Bing Translator for Windows Phone. Now with Bing Translator for Windows, you can speak into your device using it’s microphone to ask for directions or other questions and hear it translated into a native speaker’s language and accent. (Unfortunately this won’t work for Klingon but you can still do text-based translation with Klingon!)
Also part of this update is the ability to use the app’s camera feature to translate text in both portrait and landscape mode. If you have the Bing Translator app already installed on your Windows PC or tablet, you’ll seen the update come through the Windows Store shortly. If you don’t have it installed, download here from the Windows Store.

All improvements are welcome. The worst of Bing apps on Windows for now. Would you guys be interested in some feedback? I have some ideas to improve Windows (not phone) version of the app:
1. interface is really huge. Far too big everything - even on 8" device but not to mention 27" screen. Reduce size of those labels, buttons, everything. Also it's plain, bad looking. You can do better - fill the space with some contextual backgrounds. You get photos for live tile for sentence / word of the day - utilize those. Re-design of the app is necessary.
2. Lack of 320 pixels snap. It'd rather useful when working on translating a document. 500 px snap is a little too wide on most screens for such task.
3. Favorite languages and predictive search for language using keyboard is a must. Currently finding language in that long list is too hard. Let me pin my most used languages (and if I don't pin, suggest 3 languages I used in the past) and let me type name of the language ("Pol" should give me Polish, "eng" should give me English).
4. Translation of whole websites. Let me share whole website, not only selected content, with Bing Translator and provide me full version of the site in language of my choice.
