Starting tomorrow May 6th, the Microsoft Store is offering a pretty sweet deal: you can get an ASUS X200-MA touch laptop for only $199! This offer will be available both online and in physical retail stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada and will last for only 1 day (starting 12am PDT May 6th and running until 12am PDT May 7th) or until quantities run out. The ASUS X200-MA will be available in black, blue or white.

The ASUS X200-MA gives you the best of the new without losing what you love about Windows. It’s fast and light with great battery life… and you get an 11.6-inch display with touch. It also runs all your favorite apps (you can check out some of my favorite apps here) including familiar friends like Office. You can use cloud services like OneDrive storage for accessing your files from anywhere and Skype for staying connected with friends and family. It also lets you use the printers and devices you already have. And it works great both online and offline.

Tomorrow, find a near-by Microsoft Store location or check the Microsoft Store website for this deal on the ASUS X200-MA.

  • Nathan, I believe you might be confused. There was no pre-order for this offer. It was first-come-first-serve for both online and retail.

Everything was booked and preordered by Microsoft employees.

Thanks for making us look like fools. /no-thanks!

@4:16PM EDT they were there at the online MS Store.  FYI, the Processor is Intel Celeron.

I was at the store within 20 minutes of calling, and they were "Just" sold out... after telling me they had plenty in stock. No rain check, nothing... and this was at 11:00 am in the morning! quite disappointed in this fake sale. nothing available online either.

  • - This is a legitimate offer so it isn't "too good to be true". As I noted above, the offer is for today only and until quantities run out.

  • Apparently, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

  • Was ..there any stock online with this? It was out of stock from the wee hours in the morning. Poor experience
