I just got back from an awesome celebration on Microsoft campus to mark the RTM of Windows Phone 7! We had a ton of fun and I wanted to share a couple of my favorite photos from the day to share some of the flavor of the fun! Our engineering and development teams have been working so hard over the last 18 months and it was great to be a part of the celebration of this milestone, this time with a rockin’ parade. There is more work to do, but we are well on our way to bringing Windows Phone 7 to market.
Fun times... will you please do me a favor and work with HTC to have an EVO-style handset on Sprint by Christmas? :) Oh, and work with Swype to have a WP7 version! :D
What's the deal with Swype.. I'm not sure why people like it? I personally dislike it.
Can't wait to get my hands on Windows Phone 7 RTM.
I was beginning to think I was alone on that thought. I've seen too many ATT leaks that I'm getting upset that nothing is getting leaked for Sprint. I hope it doesn't take as long as christmas before one comes out, 'cos I've been waiting over a year to get a new phone!
Wow that looks like a lot of fun! :D Can't wait for WP7 :)
YEAH!!!!!! Every day we get closer and closer to my dream phone! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!
No CDMA??? Are you guys kidding? You are a USA based company who's biggest market is the USA where the best networks (with the most users) use CDMA and you decide to only be available on the same network as iPhone!!!
What is wrong with you? CDMA only would have made much more sense, given all of those people on CDMA networks in the USA, China, and Korea who cannot use an iPhone and would love an alternative.
This is 6 lost months of market time at least! Hey, let's have a big billion dollar launch for something most people will not be able to buy. Brilliant!
congrats on the RTM, many things on this platform seem extremely exciting.
One feature I can't believe this platform won't support is removal memory cards. Why are people being limited to only what the manufacturer installs on the phone?
anyone have some sort of explanation?
When can we get our hands on one of those " I Love Windows Phone" shirts ???????
Awesome...now let's see the phones. No more leaks, blurry vids, etc. I want to see the real thing(s) up close and personal! Can't wait!
i wish windows phone 7 came to metro pcs it would become a hit because all the rest of the phones on metro pcs are really crappy there is only two smartphones for metropcs
Window Phone 7, its now the start and i think it would be really a milestone.
