Tomorrow night in San Francisco Windows Phone drops into the latest GDGT event to show off the new phones. We have participated in many GDGT events but this is the first time we can let you get hands on with the full lineup of Windows Phones released in the U.S. this week, including the HTC Surround and HD7, the Samsung Focus, the LG Quantum and Dell Venue Pro. For those not familiar with the GDGT events, they are free so head over to their facebook event page to RSVP. Look for the Windows Phone t-shirt in your gift bag and wear it at the event for a chance to win an HTC Surround! Swing by our tableto say hi, check out the new phones and you just might add a new Windows Phone to your “HAVE” list before the night is over. @skipdeez and I will be there with the team to show the new phones and record some new segments for Windows Phone Radio this week.
Quick details about where and when:
See you there!

Make sure the Focus does not have a SD card in it. Problems left and right. I have the Focus, love it, love the OS, love everything about it, except the issue with the card. It was the main reason I picked the Samsung over the other 2 phone on AT&T.
Purchased the HTC Surround. A great phone which IMO is better than the iPhone.
I don't have much experience with Microsoft Maps but noticed it doesn't have street views. I put together a website to put street views on the Windows phone. The site is http://www.wp7map.com . To checkout the street view turn your Windows phone sideways (landscape).

Hey guys, could you please discuss tethering on WP7 and also changing the country locale of your Zune profile? Currently you can't do either of these - would appreciate an update.Cheers - & love the podcast!
btw andre23, I was able to get tethering to work on my Samsung Focus with my 32-bit Windows 7 notebook and got speeds >2Mbps where I would only get ~1Mbps on my Tilt 2 WP6.5 device. The catch 22 is that your notebook has to be online to download the Samsung 'Modem' drivers when you plug in the USB to the notebook. However, it did not find any such modem drivers on my 64-bit Windows 7 machine.
