"HOW DO I ENTER from 10/27 – 11/6"
I assume those directions also apply to today's contest despite the date? Otherwise I haven't found today's directions.
The blog post from 10/27 about both contests said: "Step 2: RT this for a chance to win a Windows Phone. There's a #bigassphone in Herald Square in NYC. Check it out. #WPNYC"
But even that was edited to not include the directions for 11/7. I'm guessing they wanted to rethink the profane hashtag.
Never mind. Step 2 above does have the correct instructions I assume for 11/7. As Tim pointed out, perhaps just the header "HOW DO I ENTER from 10/27 – 11/6" is incorrect. I kept glossing over the text below that line thinking it didn't apply for today. Copy/paste FTW!
How about a contest to win an update to the V1.4 Focus?
lol @jburch. I know it's not a funny situation to be in, but that comment was hilarious. I wonder what your odds of winning that would be.
Hang in there!
@BrianSeitz Can you tell me the location for the Inner Circle event in Washington D.C.? Thanks.
According to the registration page, it is at some place called "Modern" Google told me it's in the Georgetown area.
By the way, thank you guys for having contests like this!
@tsrblke Thanks for the info...I guess I don't get out much. :-)
Maybe a contest to get more people working on the Focus 1.4 update? Or a contest to properly describe the problem and what it takes so long, etc, with regards to the Focus 1.4.
This is just getting ridiculous. And again, I am a developer with many apps still highly ranked and I can not update and test for Mango features yet. This is costing me great revenue.
Even thought this is NOT the thread for this conversation, I totally agree with all the Focus 1.4 owners. This has been way too long of a dry spell regarding REAL information on what is going on with the Focus 1.4 update. This is November, for pete's sake, and no word, no progress for those folks? At this point it almost seems like the right thing to do would be to give them all a free trade-up for their device. Pipedream, I know, but the right thing to do is the right thing to do.
I am not sure I get the entering contest rules? It says something about a word of the day, but to enter it says to just post a specific message?
And how are they going to contact "me" if I win via email?
