Carcassonne is a 'must-buy' for me. Got the trial for Gerbil Physics but have not found the time to play it yet. I do not use my phone for gaming a great deal so the games I buy I tend to play until they are mastered. I am certain this has been stated innumerable times before but I would love to see the updates for Angry Birds if Rio is not averse to providing them to us. Also a Windows Phone version of Draw Something would be the bee's knees.

I have to say this is a cracking selection of games. Can't wait for Pinball FX and GeoDefense. Hopefully Pinball will have the option of adding new tables like the 360 version.

  • DoDonPaChi is such a great arcade game, I've been playing it everyday since it was released. I was wondering when the Asphalt games which were listed among the Xbox Live for Windows Phone titles launch will be released in the marketplace because there isn't any news about when these great games are coming to the platform since. It would be great to have high quality racing games like Need for Speed Shift on Windows Phone and I hope they get a release date soon

  • These games are great, but how about "Draw something" that everyone is playing but Windows phoned?

  • Give us kinda Tower Defense game!

  • Looks pretty good. Wordament better remain free. Also, WP needs better apps like sports. I want to watch the NHL and mlb on here like android users.

  • CivRev for Windows Phone? YES.

Hey guys, sorry I'm so late, but its a very serious question.

I'm thinking of buying a new Nokia Lumia phone.

My brother has a danish Xbox console, but he can't buy any of the big games, only arcade. The same games can be bought online on Playstation3. Why the restrictions?

I'm affraid to buy the Windows Phone system, even though I really like it.

  • So far Dodonpachi is out now, $4.99 though, ouch.  This article says its made by Atlus, but the marketplace says it is made by CAVE.

  • when geoDefense Swarm will be available?

    @Rodney E. Jones

I can't speak for phones, but the Zune HD was capable of 1080p I beleive (with a docking bay to get the HDMI connector) and it was sporting a tiny tiny tegra 1.

  • these games are amazing!

  • @ Sven

I'm going to look into that, thanks. You know, I don't mind what they do as long as It works with my existing equipment, and outputs in HD with good sound quality. IMHO a simple HDMI output would be the best thing. Just think if Samsung, HTC, and others didn't have to alter WP hardware to much from their Android sets it might encourage them to build more WP devices. Right now, while WP is adolescent, were going to have to share hardware chassis with other OS's. This shouldn't mean they have to be stripped down by the time they run WP.

Question for anybody,, I can't remember where I heard this, but supposedly you have to have a dual core processor to output through HDMI, and record 1080p video. Is this the case? If so does that mean that dedicated point and shoot cameras that record in 1080p have multi core chipsets? I doubt if this is true. And, did the first Android phones that had HDMI out/ 1080p have dual core processors??

Hey, I agree with Rodney. It would be nice to have some media out (not limiting to video). Interestingly enough there are some implementations of an upcoming standard, MHL ( ). Note that it says MHL is connection agnostic (i.e., not tied to a specific type of hardware connector). The first implementations dual-purpose the most popular mobile connection (micro USB) and the most popular HDTV connection (HDMI). Look in the Wiki about some members of the consortium, Nokia, Samsung. Note also the OEMs currently supporting, HTC, LG Samsung. Gee. maybe they could put this on their Windows Phones.

  • Hey Mike?

One of the features that I hope comes to WP8 devices, hopefully a future high end Nokia, is HDMI out. I don't really hear very much discussion about this, but I think it's very important for WP to have. I could get a lot of use out having HDMI out, especially if it outputs in HD. Also, my Droid buddy is killing me with his RAZR and its amazing hardware, so it would be nice to kill all that noise once and for all... Do you agree? Or does anybody else want this feature??

  • You better keep Wordament free. Are any of the others free?

  • I've been playing Word Arena, which does the same thing as Wordament... but if I can add in achievements by using Wordament, that sounds like a win!!  :)

  • Great work! Keep em coming... Approximately how many Live titles are now available in the market place??
