Meet Your Match is off to a great start! Challenges are live in malls all over the world and in Microsoft Stores, and the videos have racked up over 300,000 views so far. So we figured…why not keep things going by adding some new content?
Just a few minutes ago we hit “publish” on another Meet Your Match video which shows a few iPhone fans meeting Windows Phone for the first time. Check it out:
I also wanted to let you know that we turned on the Meet Your Match page on windowsphone.com. Here you can watch the videos, learn more about Windows Phone, and check out an interactive map that will help you find a Meet Your Match challenge nearby. Just click the “Meet your own match” box on the right side of the screen and the map will fire up.
Don’t forget to follow Windows Phone on Twitter and like us on Facebook. And remember to follow me on Twitter to ask questions or just say hi.
Speaking of websites,, check this one out... It let's you post your WP8 screen shot of your start screen to show the world!!! Scrolling through the screen shots just backs up the point that WP8 has the most customizable start screen of any phone you can get.... http://mytil.es/
BTW, for those who don't know.. To take a screenshot of any screen in WP8 press the power button, and the start button simultaneously. The pictures are stored in the picture hub under Albums/ Screen Shots....
You need to come and beat me out of my BlackBerry! I could use a free phone!
So in other words Windows Phone 8 allows you to "stalk" people on Facebook easier without even having to open the app? Perfect.
It's a cool idea and a good implementation I just don't see it as being super useful. That being said --- Ben if you want to ship me a free 8X as a replacement for my iPhone 5 go ahead. I love trying out new stuff.
@ Mike D...
You should try out a WP device!! Go to your local store and check out a Nokia 920, or the 8x.
The iPhone 5 doesn't even come close to any of the top of the line WP devices. It looses in innovation, excitement, style, selection, functionality, price..... Let's face it iPhones are yesterdays tech,, and it's time to move on to the next new thing. Don't be left behind with those who are stuck in the 2010 iPhone trend..
