OEM’s share what’s new and innovative on a Windows 7 PC – Part 2

CES 2012 continues to take place this week and I bring you the 2nd video in our 2-part series where we visited several of our OEMs on the showroom floor to get a peek at the PCs they are showing off. Video #2 is below!

Lenovo IdeaPad U300 – Kristina recently published a blog post on this PC. The Lenovo IdeaPad U300 is a sleek and powerful 13.3” PC with Intel’s latest Core i7 processor and weighing less than 3 pounds. It has a one-piece aluminum shell with versions of the PC available in Graphite Gray or Clementine Orange. For more information on the IdeaPad U300, check out Lenovo’s website.

Sony VAIO Z – The Sony VAIO Z is an ultra-portable13” PC that weighs less than 2.5 pounds and is 0.66” thin. Not only is the Sony VAIO Z powerful – it boasts up to 16 hours of battery life with optional battery sheet. For more information on the VAIO Z – check out Sony’s website.

Dell XPS 14z – The Dell XPS 14z is just 0.9″ inch thin and coms with Intel’s latest Core processors. This 14” display fits into a 13” body and comes with an optional discrete NVIDIA GPU with Optimus Technology. Find out more on the XPS 14z here.

HP Envy 14 Spectre – HP announced the Envy 14 Spectre this week at CES. This 14” PC features lightweight, scratch-resistant glass on the lid, display, palmrest, and trackpad. It fits a 14” display inside a 13.3” body and is pretty powerful boasting the latest Intel Core processors.
