I’m blown away by the depth and breadth of stories already shared from entrants to our BlogHer’12 contest. Whether it’s a new job, major weight loss, a new baby or just a need for a new change in life, you are all fighting to become better more empowered versions of yourself. You are, in fact, growing into a 2.0 (or heck let’s be honest… a 5.0) version of yourself and we are thrilled to be part of that journey.
When the planning originally started for BlogHer and we were thinking what can we do to show off the new version of ourselves, we thought it best to aalso help you put your best face forward. So, these makeovers stemmed from that simple idea – a new us with a new you. Luckily, like all good makeovers, we’ve had a few people join us along the path to BlogHer and most importantly, they are helping us make these makeovers bigger and better than expected!
First off, we are just days away from announcing our celebrity stylist! So, check back soon to see who will be joining us onsite to offer fun, upbeat and helpful style tricks and tips for those lucky enough to win and for all those who want to stop by the booth and watch the makeovers happen.
Secondly, while the makeovers onsite will be all via digital shopping, we wanted you to also have one great outfit to wear out on Friday night. Next, Toka Salon, a DC and NYC based high-end spa and salon will be doing all the hair and make-up for our winners.
