Tech Tuesday Live Twitter Chat with Office #Winchat

Office has some exciting news today! You may have seen some of it via their hashtag #Timeto365 but we are going to dive in a little bit deeper during today’s Tech Tuesday Live Twitter Chat.

Today, Office is announcing that they are making Office available to everyone through a subscription service. The service is flexible and uses the cloud to keep your information close and to help remember what you were doing, where you left off and your preferences. For instant access to your content, you can even stream full Office apps to any Internet-connected Windows PC or x86 tablet using Office on Demand, available at Office.com.

This service will be available in 162 markets and 21 languages in the Office Home Premium version. The Office 365 University version is available to college students, faculty and staff in 52 markets and 21 languages. And next month, Office 365 will be available for businesses of all sizes and worldwide starting Feb 27.

The team is also announcing new features and services that will be made in the cloud. This means that Office will be constantly improving and eliminating the hassle of upgrading. Finally, they are crowd sourcing people to share tips, tricks and ideas on www.office.com/timeto365.

We will talk about all this and more during the chat and giveaway a Windows PC with Office for one lucky participant. For questions in the meantime, check out Office.com.
