Photos from the top of Seattle with the Nokia Lumia 1020

Last week, we celebrated the announcement of the Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 1020 by taking it to an outdoor concert. Only hours after it was introduced in New York City, the Lumia 1020 – with its 41 megapixel sensor and reinvented zoom – was high atop Seattle’s Space Needle to capture the KEXP broadcast of Sub Pop Records’ 25th anniversary, a history-making event. We were able to snap a few photos of the scenery for your enjoyment, and you’ll find them embedded below with no retouching or digital editing.

As you may know, the Lumia 1020 takes full-resolution photos while also providing a 5 megapixel oversampled version that is convenient for online sharing. The photos below demonstrate the fidelity and quality that these images are able to achieve. Be sure to click through for a full-res view.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is currently available for pre-order at the Microsoft Store.
