Round-up of latest updates for popular apps and games for Windows and Windows Phone



I don’t know about you but I always get excited when I see that an app or game has been updated. Over the course of the last several weeks, several popular apps and games for Windows and Windows Phone have received some nice updates. I thought it would helpful to pull together what’s new in those updates.

FIFA14

World Cup fever is officially here with the biggest soccer tournament set to kick-off in Brazil in early June. Just in time, FIFA 14 has just been updated today to include all national teams, World Cup uniforms, and the Brazuca ball. And when the tournament starts, World Cup matches will be playable as Games of the Week. Temple Run redefined mobile gaming, and Temple Run 2 took endless running, jumping, turning and sliding that much further. It’s been a hit on Windows Phone 8 high-memory devices since December, but now it’s also available for low-memory devices. Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers is another essential game for Windows Phones. In the latest update, the Subway Surfers World Tour goes to Vancouver, Canada, adding more excitement and fun via the wildest, most amazing subway ride ever.
