Written By published July 14, 2015

Back in March, we announced the new Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard – the super portable and ultra-thin lightweight keyboard designed to work with virtually any of your devices. Today, we’re excited to announce that the Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard is now available at the Microsoft Store and various other retailers starting at $99.95 (U.S.).

I’ve spent a week carrying around the Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard and I’ve connected it to all kinds of devices – including my docked Surface Pro 3 in my office, my Dell Venue 8 Pro, my Alienware Alpha desktop PC at home, and even my Lumia 1520 (Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 required). This keyboard doesn’t just work with Windows devices – it also works with Apple and Android devices too. Setting up the keyboard with a device takes seconds. You just open it open to turn it on and connect (you pair it to a device via Bluetooth 4.0).

You can even have it connected to two supported devices simultaneously and switch between the two.

To switch between OS’s, you press the “OS” key at the top right of the keyboard.

It’s a full-size keyboard that is only 5mm thin. It’s also spill-resistant – the keys are water repellent and the fabric helps protect against other accidents.

When you’re done with the keyboard, just fold it closed to turn it off and pack it up!

The Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard also comes with a built-in rechargeable battery which gives you up to 3 months of usage on a single charge. So when you need to charge it simply connect it to your PC using the micro USB cable included in its packaging.

On a side note, the Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard works great with Windows 10 too – including Windows 10 Mobile!
