Riding the wave of hysteria

USAInformation Week’s Eric Zeman takes Nokia to task for not yet breaking the US mobile phone market. Although a big fan of Nokia’s openness, he’s suggesting it isn’t something Nokia has yet leveraged with US consumers.

This comes on the back of Apple releasing its iPhone SDK which Zeman reckons leaves Nokia “one less leg up on iPhone”. Though he does highlight the already impressive Forum Nokia Developer Network and the wide range of applications available now for S60 devices.

He does suggest that there’s an opportunity to ride the wave of hysteria though like Zeman we’ll just have to wait and see what happens there.
