Irish Nokia Music Store launches with a bang

DUBLIN, Ireland – To help celebrate the launch of the fourth Nokia Music Store in Ireland, Nokia is giving away 24,000 free music vouchers.

Worth from EUR1 to EUR10, the vouchers are available from NokiaFreeMusic.ie and participants will also be entered into a draw to win a Nokia N95 8GB and a year’s worth of unlimited music streaming from the Nokia Music Store.

The store itself is open for business stocking over 2.5 million tracks including a selection of Irish artists to please the crowd. Tracks can be purchased via a PC or direct from selected Nokia devices. This is the fourth Nokia Music Store to launch since the UK store opened for business in October last year.

Ricky from Symbian Guru was excited with the news

“The addition of Ireland to the launch countries is a step forward as Nokia (hopefully) intends to cover the planet with their online music store.”

Alan O’Hara, general manager of Nokia Ireland said

“We’re dedicated to delivering the best music experience, based on products and services that offer consumers choice, relevance, and ease of use. We also want to be more locally relevant than any other digital music store in Ireland.”

The range of music is due to expand over coming months with an emphasis on tracks by Irish artists. Have you tried the Nokia Music Store yet? Let us know if you have.
