Nokia Trends Lab hits Brussels

BRUSSELS, Belgium – If you’re a creative type and find yourself around Brussels tomorrow evening then you should get yourself along to the Nokia Trends Lab. With Belgium’s hottest mixing DJ-duos, Shameboy, on the decks it promises to be a top outing.

The duo will be joined by The Subs and Starski and Tonic for a night of music, video, photography, design and, the latest in mobile tech.

Featuring at the lab will be Myvu with its range of Crystal video
display glasses, which will be hooked up to a series of N95s. Visitors
will be able to watch a selection of videos, chosen from uploads at
Nokia Trends Lab website, in special Myvu incubators – which sound
pretty ominous.

Sadly, we won’t be attending which is a little disappointing as it
actually sounds like a really cool set up. Putting different artists
from different disciplines, arming them with some good technology
should throw up some pretty interesting results.

Luuk Cox is one half of the Shameboy Duo and he says “This will be a
great inspiration to us, not only by the possibilities that mobile
technology can bring, but also by the creative talent we hope to
discover”.

If you’re attending, be sure and let us know so you can share the experience.
