The Pangea Day program runs for four hours including short films (including the five finalists for the Mobile Filmmaking Awards) and talks from CNN’s Christianne Amanpour, Queen Noor of Jordan and as if that lot wasn’t enough, you’ll also get music from Bob Geldof and Dave Stewart. Now that’s worth staying in for.
In the US, Current TV will be kicking off at 11am PST (1PM EST) on the world’s first peer-to-peer news and information network. The whole event will be shown.
In the UK Sky will be showing the event live on Sky Movies Indie and if by chance you miss it, not to worry, you’ll be able to catch up with Sky Anytime on TV. There’ll also be a one hour highlights show aired
later on Sky Movies.
Star World will be pushing the event out in Asia, though you should check your local listings for exact timings.
If you do fancy going out, there’ll be live broadcasts happening in
Cairo, Kigali, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai and Rio de Janeiro. Check
PangeaDay.org for details.
