INTERNATIONAL – Yesterday I was keen to shine the spotlight on Nokia’s new location-based CO2 offsetting software. Simply called we:offset its the first mobile app to calculate your carbon footprint when you travel by aeroplane, and even do it automatically using location-based info. Luckily, I don’t have to take any flights in the near future, but if you are and would think about using we:offset we’d love to hear how you get on with it – especially the Trip Detection feature that automatically tracks your flights and calculates the CO2 emissions, along with what it costs to offset.
