Nokia 5800 to land in London this month

LONDON, England – The 5800 will be hitting the Nokia flagship stores in Regent Street and Heathrow Terminal 5 on Friday 23rd – a little over two weeks from now. We said it’d be a hot topic for 2009, but even we didn’t expect it to heat up this quickly. What’s more, it’s available to pre-order from today on and available from Friday 30th January from Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile UK, Virgin Mobile, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.

The 5800, which will go on sale exclusively in the two Nokia flagship stores at 10am on the 23rd, will be available for £249 sim free. We’ve written plenty about the 5800, including a brief overview and our very own hands on video which you can watch here. Just the other day we had our piece on the 5800 facing some tough tests – the videos are well worth a few minutes of your time.

We’re really excited about the arrival of the 5800 in the UK. No word yet on whether there’ll be a Comes with Music version – it looks like at launch it’ll just be the device on its own.
