LAS VEGAS, USA – Both the Nokia E63 and 7510 will be hitting the USA within weeks, Nokia announced today. The two devices will be joined by the 1006, a dedicated CDMA device developed in Nokia’s San Diego product creation centre. The announcements were made at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where the Nokia N97 also got it’s first public outing in the USA.

The E63 will be going on sale in US stores in the coming weeks for an estimated retail price of $279. The device also comes with a Files on Ovi subscription with 1GB of free storage online. It also packs 3G, full QWERTY keyboard and the ability to easily switch modes for work and play.

Joining the E63 is the Nokia 7510 which will be available exclusively through T-Mobile in the USA. Using the Series 40 operating system, the 7510 packs plenty of functionality in a stylish device. With interchangeable covers and matching colour schemes, there’s lots to like about the 7510, and if you’re living in the US of A, even more, it would seem.

All this is splendid news, in my book. No, it isn’t the entire Nokia range suddenly going on sale in the US, but it does feel like products are arriving there faster than previously. We’ve written before about the improvements being made at Nokia USA and, for me at least, these seem like another glimmer of light that the whole scheme might be working. What about you?
