Nokia Photo Browser for everyone

GLOBAL – It’s only been a couple of weeks since the touchscreen version was introduced, but as promised we now have a non-touchscreen version of Nokia Photo Browser. This is only a quick heads up for those of you who want to give it a whirl. Head on over to Nokia BetaLabs to download it now. Don’t forget to leave your feedback. Meanwhile, it gives us a chance to highlight Nokia Conversations’ own Charlie Schick in all his video-demo finery. Check him, and Nokia Photo Browser out after the jump.

Mike wrote about Nokia Photo Browser when it was first announced. Initial feedback from that was really positive, with plenty of you getting excited about it. I’ve just downloaded and installed the app on my E71 and it works a treat. It’s such a nice way to view photos on your phone. I have to say too, if this is the standard of app now coming out of BetaLabs then we’re in for a real treat this year and beyond. I’m really excited to see how this develops.

I think it’d be nice to be able to scroll through full size pics using the up and down key as well as left to right, like you can when it’s in thumbnail view. It would also seem obvious that the next steps for this is to plug it into GPS and contacts, so we can start to bring the pics to life. All in good time, I suspect. What do you think?
