Rihanna launches new album with Nokia



Nokia-RihannaLONDON, England – November 16 will see a ground-breaking deal come to life when singing sensation Rihanna launches her new album with a live, streamed, concert exclusively with Nokia. In partnership with Island Def Jam Music Group and Universal Music Group, Nokia.com will play host to Rihanna performing a select number of tracks from her new album, live for the first time. Rihanna’s new album, Rated R will be performed in front of an exclusive audience in London, streamed online and at simultaneous listening parties around the world. The launch also coincides with the global availability of the Nokia X6.

What’s more, Comes with Music subscribers will be able to download an exclusive version of Rated R, including a bonus track and remix for free as part of their subscription.

This unique collaboration is the first of its kind and brings together new music, the Comes with Music Service and Nokia Music Store. Nokia will also be producing an exclusive Rihanna application and exclusive footage from her london gig which will be made available through the Ovi Store.

Rihanna stated

“I am so excited to partner up with Nokia. They are doing some really revolutionary things with this album, enabling me to reach more fans than ever before.”

Fans will be able to sign up to watch the live stream at Nokia.com/rihanna as well as download a countdown timer and invite friends to watch the performance through Facebook and Twitter.
