Ovi-Store

GLOBAL – From today Nokia users on the AT&T network in the USA will be able to download free and paid for applications, games and device content and pay for it through their AT&T bill. Getting up and running with Ovi Store is simple, and the functionality is available now for the Nokia E71x, Nokia Surge, Nokia Mural, Nokia 6650, Nokia 6555 and the Nokia 6350 – more devices will follow.

This brings a new level of convenience to users downloading content. Of course, there’s plenty of free content on Ovi Store, which can be downloaded instantly for nada, but now paid-for content downloaded by AT&T users will be charged to the users phone bill rather than requiring a credit card.

To get up and running, Nokia users on AT&T (for the devices listed above) simply need to:

  1. Visit store.ovi.com on their device
  2. Download and install the Ovi Store application when prompted
  3. Starting finding new content for their device and download

David Petts, VP and general manager, AT&T account, Nokia said:

“Nokia is happy to bring the exciting content available through Ovi Store by Nokia to AT&T customers in an easy way with a convenient billing solution.
