ESPOO, Finland – Nokia releases a lot of online videos, we have close to 400 of them on our YouTube channel alone (which doesn’t include Nokia’s many other YouTube channels). And I must admit, the latest Ovi Store video (shown below) could be the best one I’ve seen to date.
Directed by Hiro Murai, a music video director who has worked with The Fray and Bloc Party and produced by Partizan, Michel Gondry’s award winning production company, the video demonstrates a few of the Ovi Store’s most compelling apps, including Facebook, Gravity, and Qik. But instead of the usual geekiness and techiness found in traditional gadget videos, you’ll instead find imagination and fun.
“We want to get people excited about all the amazing things they can do with their Nokia by using the great content available through Ovi Store,” said Nokia Senior Marketing Manager, John Bartleson. And no doubt they will after this thing makes its way around the internet.
Have a look at the video for yourself and post your thoughts below. Enjoy!
