This is a big leap for Firefox, as this sparks the first release of the full Firefox experience on a mobile device. There’s a ton of great functionality to get stuck into, and some new mobile-specific functions as well.
One of the best parts of Firefox mobile is the ability to sync with your desktop or laptop browser. Using the Weave Sync plugin, you can keep create a Weave account and keep all your browsers in Sync. As Jay shows off in the video below, you’ll be able to pull up pages from your history on a mobile device, which you previously browsed on your desktop.
Of course, this is the first iteration of Firefox mobile and as we’ve seen with the desktop version, I think we can expect it to get better all the time. But what a great start!
