Comes With Music – movie soundtrack downloads defy Oscars 2010 winners

Nokia Comes With MusicGLOBAL – Last night at the Oscars 2010, Pixar’s Up was awarded the golden statue for music and ‘best original score’, yet in the soundtrack download stakes via Comes With Music, the 2009-2010 winners took an entirely different and supernatural form. Read on to find out which Oscar nominated soundtrack did storm the top 10 list of globally downloaded movie soundtracks through Comes With Music, plus find out which soundtrack sunk its fangs into the number one slot.

James Cameron’s sci-fi epic AVATAR was the only Oscar 2010 nominee to make it into the top 10, securing a solid second place. However, first place was reserved for the global teen vampire phenomenon that is Twilight – it’s sequel ‘New Moon’ even managed to make it into fifth spot with the Mexican version.

Although AVATAR was the only one of this year’s nominees to fly into the Comes With Music top 10 list for globally downloaded film soundtracks, last year’s winner of the best original score, Slumdog Millionaire, did also make it into the top 10.
