GLOBAL – Its been a busy visual week for us here on Conversations. A slew of new devices have been announced bringing messaging to the masses, Design by Community is still going strong and Nokia’s Environmental team continue their crusade to make us greener.

Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 announced
This week Nokia announced not one, not two but three new devices. Bursting onto the scene we have the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5. Each comes packing a finger-tapping-friendly QWERTY keyboard and more social connections than the WAGS combined. The Nokia C3 is the first Series 40 device to sport a full QWERTY keyboard and it’s at a price that’s pretty jaw-dropping. The Nokia E5 sports some stupendously long battery life whilst the Nokia C6 brings together the best of touchscreen and keyboard in one device. All three sport WiFi as well. Design by Community video vox pop – Jussi Ruutu, Nokia Research Center
We’ve been catching-up with a variety of Nokia folks to hear their opinions on the Design by Community project. This week we’ve been chatting to Jussi Ruutu, Research leader for the Energy and Power Management (EPM) team at the Nokia Research Center in Helsinki. During our discussion we asked Jussi what he thinks is the secret of a great concept device and what his dream Nokia device would be. Watch the video to find out what he had to say.
Nokia’s way of being green – it’s easy to be green
We’re still proudly wearing our green badges here on Conversations with the help of Nokia’s Environmental team. Over the past couple of weeks they’ve been sharing tips on how we could all be a little kinder to planet earth.
