Intel demos Meego 1.0 – videos

MeeGo-DemoSAN FRANCISCO, USA – Earlier this week the folks at Intel demoed the first implementations of Meego on various devices at IDF 2010 (Intel Developer Forum). The first of the two videos, highlighted by Engadget, shows the new operating system running on an Acer netbook. More interestingly the second video shows the OS running on a number of devices, including a netbook, TV and smartphone. During the demo, you can see a video player app being downloaded onto the Netbook, a video being played and then the user moving from the netbook, seamlessly to the TV where the video carries on playing once he’s inputted his profile. The video also shows how RFID is being used in China and vouchers downloaded directly to the MeeGo-enabled device. Both videos after the jump, let us know what you think in the comments.
