Nokia Conversations en español

Nokia-conversacionesMIAMI, Florida – Today marks a pretty special day for Conversations, as we take the wraps off our brand new Latin America edition. Nokia Conversaciones is produced by a team working in Miami and Bogota, who also work alongside us here on the global blog. Like the China edition we launched a few weeks ago, Conversaciones will be working hard to unearth the interesting stories from Latin America, the best of which we’ll be following up on right here on the global edition.

The site was unveiled officially this morning in front of 50 influential bloggers from all across Latin America. Gathered in Miami for the NokiaTalk blogging event, speakers include John Valentine from SCVNGR, Eduardo Arcos from Hipertextual, along with a host of social media and blogging experts.

Much of the focus for the day is around social media, both in the context of Latin America and also from a mobile perspective, taking in the future of operating systems, location based services and asking the big question – is it possible to live off of blogging?

We’ll be picking out the best bits from the day to share with you later, however if you want to catch up on all the action in Spanish, head on over to Conversaciones.
