GLOBAL – We’ve been working hard behind the scenes this summer (well, the team have, I’ve been on holiday mostly) to bring you a brand new look for Nokia Conversations. We’re looking all set to get the finished version live this coming Friday and we’re super excited about what we’ve got in store for you. Check out a full size image after the jump. We’re not going to show off the homepage yet, as that has some extra treats in store for you.
The new look is a ground-up redesign of the site and we wanted to bring you something cleaner, easier to use and some new functionality as well. On the side we have a new video sidebar, which pulls video directly from our channel on YouTube – this means you have instant access to every video we ever broadcast, right there in the sidebar. Under that you’ll find the list of the most commented stories from the last 30 days, the latest podcast, links to the all-new almanac and below that, the top posts from the last 24 hours.
We’re also introducing Facebook sharing links and we’re bringing the pretty awesome Disqus.com commenting engine into the site, so you can share comments more easily. We’re also making it easier to switch between the different language variants of Conversations, and for you to connect with us.
